Thus this kind of poem gots its name, Antham (the end) + Aaadhi (the beginning) = Anthaadhi. Although Tamil literature consists of hundreds of Anthaadhi songs, Abhirami Anthaadhi is praised as one of the prominent Anthaadhi songs of Tamil literature.
